Who is responsible?
Clare Finnie, trading as Clare Finnie Pilates in Bristol, is responsible for the personal information used to handle enquiries. For privacy questions or requests, email clarefinniepilates@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
When you contact me through this website or by email, I receive your name, email address, message and any other details you choose to share. I use these to respond, discuss classes and arrange private or corporate sessions. Please do not send sensitive medical information through the contact form.
For general enquiries, my lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering messages and running my Pilates business in a way you would reasonably expect. Where you ask me to arrange a service, I use the information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to fulfil that contract if you book.
Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to a mailing list.
How your message reaches me
The contact form sends your details to FormSubmit, which forwards the message to my Gmail inbox. FormSubmit’s documentation says it retains form submissions for 30 days. Google provides the email service. These providers may process information outside the UK; their privacy information explains their practices. You can email me directly if you prefer to bypass FormSubmit.

How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to answer your question and manage any resulting arrangements or follow-up. If an enquiry becomes a booking, relevant correspondence may need to be kept longer for the service, accounting obligations or resolving a dispute. The length of time depends on those purposes; information that is no longer needed should be deleted.
Bookings and other websites
Cotham bookings are made through Gymcatch and Stockwood bookings through Feelgood Fitness. Those services have their own privacy notices and booking terms. Buy Me a Coffee also handles information on its own website. This notice covers website enquiries; it does not replace any privacy information provided when you book or complete a health questionnaire.
Website technology
I have not added advertising trackers or analytics to this website. The website hosting and form services may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect their services. Links to booking, mapping and support websites take you to external services with their own cookie and privacy practices.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy where that right applies. Email me using the address above to make a request or raise a concern.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
